Paul Hunter has succumbed to the cancer he has been fighting for some time. Not just Leeds and the snooker world will be in mourning today. Paul Hunter was an incredible individual. Positive and courageous, please join me in extending my sympathy to his young family. RIP.

I saw Paul Hunter play at the Crucible once and was saddened last night to hear of his death. My condolences to his family.
Paul Hunter belonged to my favourite players. He was real magician with a cue. I will miss him...
It is very sad news - I think he would have become a great.
You wouldn't believe an apparently fit looking man like Paul Hunter would end up with cancer, it is truly shocking and very tragic, a terrible loss for his family.
