I think we all do from time to time. Fortunately, I know a guru who has written on precisely this topic. It's an article called Motivation & Uncertainty. His other stuff is also excellent.
I've decided to spend June learning Czech. Unfortunately, the course I wanted to attend is fully booked, so I'm going to try plan B and learn at home. I'll keep up with posts at the Ghost Cabinet, but my focus has to move away from this site if I'm going to make headway with Czech. Anyway, it will be an interesting experiment to track what happens to site traffic, when a blogger takes a break. I'll come back when Blair goes.

So you're Czeching out from the world of blogging then?
Good luck to you on the new language, not one of the world's easiest from what I hear.
All the best, you will be missed. I'll keep czeching in (groan, how often have you heard that one?) from time to time in case you change your mind. Alternatively, you could start a blog letting the readership know how the language studies are going, maybe even trying a post or two in Czech?
If you learn Zech in a month that will be amazing.
I went away for 2 weeks and my traffic doubled!
I speak perfect Czech Mr PT and am available to help when ever you wish...
Dog Czech? - I did 2 and a half hours this morning filling blanks in with Czech words and creating a vocabulary list.

I struggle a lot with motivation. I was going to do something about it but could not be bothered.
I recommend avoiding books that concentrate on grammar until you have a basic grip of conversational Czech.
As for motivation, ever listened to a lecture by Richard Brandler of NLP fame? It's better than stand-up!
Your posts keep disappearing Mr PT...
I was redrafting.
