UK Personal Lending Reports

Datamonitor produce an annual report on personal lending in the UK. I was having a tidy up and came across their reports for 2003 and 2004. Authoritative tomes, they provide bone-crushing evidence that the "UK credit crunch" was predicted and predictable from way back.

"However, should UK GDP growth slow dramatically, house prices crash, and unemployment increase, the consumer credit market will face a very different future."

As I've pointed out else where - there were no shortage of warning signs - there was just a refusal to listen by Dr J.G.Brown.

Brown wouldn't listen then, just as he doesn't listen now. He still thinks he is not to blame for any part of the crisis we are experiencing now. Deluded doesn't begin to start describing the man.
