Czech & Slovak

Excellent summary of what the (insert) is going in Czech and Slovak politics from Peter Martinovic.

I have a house guest for the next few days, so I expect to be doing lots of socialising and very little blogging.

Thank you for recommending my thread, although it's just a brief repetition of past events.

I want to repeat my invitation to the 2006 Czech and Slovak Right-wing Days. Yesterday I started the subscription process. Place: The town of Modra, Slovakia, Date: November 10 - 12. There will be five seminars with Czech and Slovak MPs, MEPs and intellectuals. Please, let me know if you are interested and I'll provide you with details.

Tried mailing you Peter. I like the look of this event. Modra is easily accessible for me and looks like a nice place. Obviously I am usually in Prague, but it might be nice to meet up before November either in Slovak, Prague or in Bournemouth if you'll be at Tory conference.

I'm sorry if you've had problems with sending me an e-mail. I think that postmaster.co.uk has currently a bit mess in the system...

Hehe, believe me that I'd love to be in Bournemouth! But I'm afraid attending Tory conference remains in a category of dreams to me.

And with regards to Prague, I visited 'Mother of all Czech towns' on Saturday and I don't think I'll get there again before our November event. But next month I'm going to spend some time in Brno to discuss details of its organization with my Czech friends, the ODS members. You can join us!

To subscribe to the 2006 Czech and Slovak Right-wing Days, you need to write to me an e-mail containing your personal info, i.e. name, address, e-mail and your cell phone number. Then choose from one of the following schemes:

The payment includes accomodation and 5 meals (Friday: dinner; Saturday: breakfast, lunch, dinner; Sunday: breakfast).

2. If you choose just Friday, it costs 240 CZK. Saturday costs 400 CZK and Sunday costs 160 CZK. Of course, you can combine the days.

Please, write down 1111 as your variable symbol.
