I cannot say that the Left extended us the same courtesy in the 90s, but I think it is a little ill-mannered to intrude on private grief.

They're never going to be the natural party of government are they, but as you're anon, I can't add to the list.
Remind them that research suggests that people who believe in wealth redistribution are more likely to express racist views than those who don't. So racism is more of a left-wing
characteristic than right-wing. Fits nicely as evidence that the BNP is left-wing.

Bring up the fact that the gap between rich and poor is wider under Blair than it was under Thatcher.
If football matches are primarily a "working class" past-time, why are there organisations such as "footballers against racism"? There are no cricketing / rugby equivalents as far as I'm aware!
PS Praguetory, I did hesitate before my David Cameron comment above as it can inflame right-wingers as much as left-wingers!
